Markus Hofmann receives the important international speaker award

He has been certified as a “Certified Speaking Professional” (CSP) in Orlando/Florida

(Orlando) Markus Hofmann has received the most important and worldwide acknowledged quality award for trainers and professional speakers, the so-called Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), together with two other German speakers last year. Within the framework of a festive ceremony, Phil van Hooser, president of the National Speakers Association (NSA), handed over the medals of honour to the king of time-management, Prof. Dr. Lothar Seiwert, the sales specialist Andreas Buhr and the Memory Trainer, Markus Hofmann. Van Hooser, also a CSP, confirmed for the awarded speakers: By receiving the CSP you now belong to the group of especially excellent colleagues, who have already been received this award. We feel honoured to be able to welcome him in our group.

Only almost 600 top speakers worldwide are decorated with the award. At least five years as a successful, professional business speaker have to be documented in four fields of competence, expertise, eloquence, enterprise and ethnics extraordinary results have to be proven. A special challenge is based on 20 customers, who are questioned about the performance of the speaker, his creditbility, his stage performance as well as his business behaviour. They send their comments directly to the USA. Added to that the certificates as well as numerous diplomas of further education, number of customers, minimal revenue and marketing documentation also have to be presented for the evaluation and certification.

Markus Hofmann has been working as a memory trainer since 2002. Born and bred in Nabburg, he has set a few considerable milestones during the last years. By means of the Scots Bet ”Wetten, dass…?” and as a top speaker of the expert FORUM “Die Erfolgsmacher” (The Success Makers) the news magazine FOCUS and Süddeutsche Zeitung Markus Hofmann became well-know to the broad public. In the meantime he is a visiting lecturer at various universities such as Management Universität St. Gallen as well as a lecturer for structured knowledge management at the International Business School ZfU in Switzerland. Besides audio books and contributions to books, he published his first book in 2009. “Hirn in Hochform”(Brain in high performance) advanced to a bestseller within a few weeks. The sequel “Familie in Hochform” (Family in high performance) was published last year. He has been a director of the university course of lectures “Professional Speakers GSA” at the Steinbeishochschule Berlin, where people can obtain the tools for professional speeches on a university level, since the beginning of 2010. Markus Hofmann highlights his quality as a top trainer and speaker by means of the CSP. After the awarding ceremony in Orlando he was very proud indeed of the award. “Being honoured as a CSP in front of 1.500 international speaker colleagues with standing ovations was a very special moment of my life.
